From the Client Shelf

Actually this one did not have time to reach the client shelf, it arrived in the mail last week as a
bit of an early Christmas gift. I wanted to feature it this week’s column for a couple reasons,

First the book begins with a story of Christmas morning on a farm in Saskatchewan but not what
you may think, the story is about a family loosing their home to fire. This at a time when 8 year old IJ’s
Dad was so sick it would be his last Christmas with the family.

Tough start, but IJ as she is know to her friends uses this as the fist story in a book about
gratitude, that is the kind of lady she is.

Another reason I wanted to feature this book is the what she she says about me in the forward.
Ida was not sure that she had a book in her, and doubly not sure she was ready to write it if one was there,
but she came to a boot camp, made some friends and wrote a book. Not bad for 2 and half days.
Again that is the kind of lady she is.

We were friends before the camp but we became a lot closer in the process of working on her
book which really is about being grateful for the life you have.

The subtitle of the book is Feel Free From Regret in Three Small Steps, and that is something I
am going to try to put into practice.

Thanks Ida-Jean!

I am going to be hosting 3 virtual book camps on 3 consecutive weekends in January, if 2021 is
the time to write your book, just drop me a note and see if one of the camp dates work for you.
